More memories of Grandma

Ok this is mainly for family. But I wanted to set up a list that you could add comments to of your own memories of grandma.

I'll start:
  • "Reddy Kilowatt" lightning bolt men
  • Popsicle lights
  • Robin eggs in the living room
  • Smarties in grandma's underwear drawer
  • Sparkly ceilings
  • SCARY stuffed animals in the downstairs bedroom
  • Petrified Wood
  • Butterfly fridge magnets

List some more!

  1. flower magnets on the refrigerator, cork board in the hallway by the phone, pink porcelain bathroom fixtures, big time smarties, the "smarties" pillows on her big, blue couch, freaky masks in the basement, green fuzzy slippers

  2. Oh, I loved the patio covered in astroturf and the excellent iron patio furniture. I spent SO much time on that patio.

I also loved waiting under the overpass at State and I-15 to meet up with them to drive to Fish Lake. I loved riding in the back seat of their LTD.

-the "secret door" between the downstairs bathroom and the laundry room
    -Golfballs in egg cartons
-The hanging tennisball in the garage to gauge when to stop pulling in.

  4. I love the way she would say "Grandpa" all drawn out when he would say something totally inappropriate.

    "it's got bones in it"

"Aww, who stepped on the cat's tail?"

    "Shucky darns"

    "Elloah"

I also loved the astroturf and iron furniture, painted green. How about the ferns on the side of the house?

    Excellent tasting vitamin Cs

    Sparkly ceilings

    Green diagonal striped wall paper

Coins in genie bottles and buffalo nickles

The way her rings fit on her bony fingers just below her knuckles

The light fixture with the fake candles that flickered

    Her super cursive handwriting
